How do I make an appointment? What forms do I need to fill out?
When you click on the "Schedule Appointment" button, you will be redirected to our online system, where you can make appointments and fill out the forms ahead of time. To maximize your treatment time, we strongly recommend finishing the online forms ahead of your appointment. There is a waitlisting function in the system, if your desired appointment time to booked.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
We recommend eating and drinking 90 minutes before a treatment, so you are neither hungry nor full. Prepare your energy and hydration level as if you are about to run a 5K. Even though you are lying on the table, it requires energy to do energy work. Also, please wear loose comfortable clothing that makes area below the knees and elbows accessible, as demonstrated in the photo. We recommend our clients to arrive ten minutes before the appointment to enjoy our shaded Zen garden or indoor meditation space, and maximize their treatment time.
What happens during the treatment?
Every session begins with an evaluation. If you are a first time client, the evaluation will take longer. Please bring all your lab reports, including blood work, CT-scans, MRIs and all diagnosis from previous medical practitioners.
We will discuss your concerns: How long have you had this condition for? How has your concerns been hindering your daily life activities? What are your treatment goals?
In holistic medicine, we consider the health of the person as a whole picture. This will include discussing your mood, your digestion, your sleep, your menstruation cycle, etc. Your body is like puzzle pieces that need to be put together to get a better view of the whole picture. Every clue helps us diagnose and design a treatment plan. We may recommend herbs to restore the balance of yin yang and five elements in your body.
Once you are on the treatment table, we will start with breathing exercises to awaken your inner healing system. We will begin with physical realignment, often using manual manipulation techniques. If it is an energy healing session, I will connect to your higher self and follow the guidance to remove blockages and receive universal healing energy. If it is an acupuncture session, I will sterilize each point with alcohol before inserting hair-thin, sterile, individually packaged, disposable needles. Usually patient feels little or no discomfort.
What do I do after my appointment?
Eat a nutritious wholesome meal, drink lots of water, and get plenty of rest. It is normal for some patients to feel light headed or sleepy and relaxed after the treatment. If that is the case, please take your time resting and hydrating before driving home. As you continue your day, you may eat more, eliminate more, and sleep more than usual. All positive signs your body is healing. We also recommend journaling about your experience and keeping track of your own healing journey. Take charge. Keep progress notes. Writing or filming a testimonial on Facebook / Instagram / Yelp / Google is actually the best way to show up for your health. Words are vibrations. When you write positive words about your progress, you are claiming the health to be yours. Also, your soul is the boss. When you write a testimonial, you are opening your heart. Every time you feel and express your gratitude, you raise the energy vibrations and heal yourself.
